Global Branding & Operations: Built Four Seasons Hotels global brand strategy, marketing infrastructure and new standards growing from 8 to 42 hotels, in from 3 to 22 countries and $400 million to $2.5 billion revenue. During his tenure in the 90s, as CMO and EVP Operations, Four Seasons became the luxury hotel leader.
Meteoric Growth & Innovation: Grew Starbucks into a national chain by achieving record retail expansion. Built operations team that grew the company from 500 to 3,000 stores, and $400 million to $2.5 billion in 3 years. 'Comp' store sales doubled from 3% to 7+% through new products (Frappuccino), acquisitions (Tazo Tea) while I served as its first President of Starbucks N.A.
Rebuilding Legacy Brands: Rebuilt the classic Elizabeth Arden Red Door brand. Created and executed a complete new 'end-to-end' strategy. Built a team that doubled store counts and profitability with improved margins, new skin care products and digital innovation as President and CEO.
